We wanted Mexican but it was a 30-40 minute wait and this was next door. We still had our name on the list just in case. This was a seat yourself kinda place. High tables, at the bar, few booth seating and outside tables were available. We chose inside and a booth. There seemed to be only a few waitresses available as ours appeared to be working a lot of tables. The food was hot and fresh. Our longest wait was our cashed owed to us, not sure what was up with that. We had chips with a variety of dip options. Chips were a little too salty. Our kid had chicken tenders and fries, hubby had wings and so did I. Oh the lemon drop martini was excellent! I should've had two!

We gave Bar Louie another chance and it was amazing. The burgers were great and the beer is always cold.

Bar Louie at International Plaza's Bay Street is the perfect spot for a casual night out with friends! My go-to meal is now their grilled cheese and creamy tomato basil soup combo--so comforting and delicious for these cooler Tampa evenings lately. The soup is rich and flavorful, and the grilled cheese pairs with it perfectly. I also tried the pineapple upside-down cake mocktail, and it was a refreshing, sweet treat I'll definitely order again. Sitting on the covered patio is always a highlight--great people-watching and chill vibes with just the right touch of music from the DJ inside. Highly recommend for good food, drinks and a laid-back atmosphere!

My friends and I had a blast visiting this Bar Louie vacation at the mall next to the airport. The food was delicious and on point in terms of temperature, flavor, and presentation. My favorite was the Trio Dips because the cheese was served hot and melted, the guacamole was bright green, and the salsa tasted fresh as heck. The chips were lightly salted and a healthy portion for the dips. The cocktails on happy hour were $8 and an absolute treat. The Clover is bourbon-based with an orange flavor. The Effen Good is gin based and a delicious combination with lime and cucumber. Our server was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and easy to find. The lighting was adequate and booths comfortable. The menus were crisp and organized. I love the concept of Bar Louie!

We've been a few times since in town for a while. Food good service decent. First night great and all came out ok!! Second visit burger had to be remade multiple times due to sauce we didn't want. Server asked if we wanted remade or scraped off ?? Even if they did that I wouldn't ask that to the guest. ??? Third visit was for brunch today and server was together and made a good cocktail. All in all decent time based on hours open and food options. Great location too

We came in for the $8 Tuesday all day Burger. I got the mushroom swiss and hubby got the BBQ Blazer. They were both awesome! Very juicy and cooked perfectly! Nice flavor, the bun nice and fresh. We also came during happy hour which is until 7:00 p.m. $4 drafts domestic. It could have been a little colder. Please turn it up. Atmosphere perfect nice lighting. Service excellent. I did not get a mixed drink but I watched Abigail make a few and she is good! I might even try and Expresso Martini next time haha!

Went on a very busy chaotic day, it was beyond crowded and loud. There was no host or hostess waiting to seat us. We did find a couple of empty tables but from the looks of it no one was coming by to clean them. So we grabbed a couple of seats at the bar knowing we would get service there quicker. The bartender immediately came to us, even with the bar completely full and asked us what we would like to order. This is where my 5 stars starts to kick in. No complaints here. The atmosphere was great, the bar was clean, and the service was pretty good. Everyone behind the bar worked well together. We ordered wings, hamburger, and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was cooked to perfection. Dave, the bartender was funny, helpful and efficent. He kept us happy and well loaded with drinks at hand. We drank happily and conversed with guests around us. The atmosphere was welcoming, fun, and wonderfully intoxicating. If you're in the area and want a bar atmosphere I definitely would recommend. So good! Very impressed and will be back.

I've been here a few times now- each time the food is always consistent. I feel like the food is good, not anything to wow over. I'm always surprised at how empty this place seems to be, yet they've stayed in busy at this location for quite awhile now. The wait staff are always nice and happy to help you. Our waitress on Sunday was especially kind.

I used to frequent Bar Louie when I first moved to Tampa but haven't been there in a long time. This past visit I came for happy hour with a group of friends. I had a mango margarita and we shared the fried calamari, flatbread, boneless wings and pretzel bites. All in all the food was pretty good. The service was pretty decent and surprisingly it wasn't that busy when we were there. I do wish they had more happy hour items so without cheese in them.
